When I drove into Selma for the first time I felt I had driven directly into a movie set! Thanks to the wonderful Bobo/Kirkpatrick couple I have seen parts of Selma most probably never will. I felt absolutely blessed and given a gift to have had the privledge of capturing their wedding. It was as if it were from the set of Sweet Home Alabama the movie!!!

Saturday brought a windy but beautiful day at Matthews Manor covering a wedding there is always a pleasure and for those who know "the butler" I have a hilarious image of the gals with him. I'll share that later.

So September brought me the wedding of Shelley. I have photographed all her sisters weddings and so it was time to marry off the last. :) It has been a true pleasure working with the family and seeing these gals grow up. ( In my past life they were clients too so this family is extra special)
I remember Shelley at 16 with hair down to her booty, the 22nd I watched her marry a wonderful man and start new her stage in her life.....I am honored you chose me to capture that day.

I must first apologize if you have been trying to reach Lisa Marie Photo in the last few weeks, things are NUTZ with weddings, esession, seniors and kids right now. Please know it is not intentional...I just have to keep my head down so I can provide for my present clients.

Well, breaking all personal shooting records...I had the absolute pleasure of shooting this beautiful 2008 senior in my studio and at oneof her fav hang-outs...the AIRPORT!!! I was lucky enough to get to work at my favorite downtown church again this Dec. 29th! Some folks know that I rarely shoot families much anymore due to the demand for Weddings and Senior photography. This holiday weekend I was able to work a wonderful family into my schedule and got to hang out with this fun, funny, enjoyable group at a beautiful park. I got to work with Uncut Flowers from Cahaba Heightsa few weeks ago. On not 1 wedding but 2!! How funny to see them at both Saturday and Sunday's wedding. LOVE thier work.
Also I was lucky enough to be chosen for one f the coolest weddings EVER. The venue... Morgan Creek Vineyards in Harpersville, was one of the absolute beautiful places to work.

WOW Just got back from an intensive 2 days in ATL studying with 4 top photographers in the U.S. I am soooooo excited about all I learned and have decide to add Custom "Blends" to my product line. This example is a small idea of what they look like after I create them. They come framed in a 4x10 BEAutiful custom frame! keep watching to see all the creative juices flowing out of these!! Man I can't believe this month is almost gone. Between bridals and engagements I got the chance to hang out with this lil' one.
